Test Specification
The purpose of a testing specification is to define the approach, scope, scenarios, conditions, and acceptance criteria used to verify and validate that the solution meets its agreed requirements and specifications. It describes what will be tested, how testing will be performed, and the expected results, providing a structured basis for identifying defects, assessing compliance, and confirming that the solution functions correctly and is fit for its intended purpose. It complements the requirements, functional, technical, system, and design specifications by providing a traceable means of demonstrating that the delivered solution meets the defined expectations.
